Using carnations in
various wedding arrangements is one of the best ways to keep it simple,
affordable and beautiful at the same time. The 2000 years old flowers are quite
inexpensive and have a better longevity than most of the other popular wedding
flowers. But the biggest plus point of using these flowers for the big day is
the sheer versatility of the blooms. The multitude of colors and even the
available shapes and sizes make this an exciting proposition for the wedding
of any theme or scale. Carnations are extensively used in wedding centerpieces,
corsages, bridal bouquets, boutonnieres, cake décor, props, escort cards,
chandelier décor, festooning, chair décor, overhang décor, garlands, arches,
crowns, necklaces wreaths and various other arrangements either as standalone
petals or as an assortment alongside other wedding flowers or as both.
The spray carnations
have more than one bloom per stem which makes them perfect for any short
arrangement while the classic carnations can be the perfect choice for the
long-end arrangements While purple carnations can look breathtaking in a
wedding bouquet consisting of baby’s breath, white roses, orchids, ruscus, calla lilies and lily grass, blue
carnations can make stunning table arrangements and centerpieces when used
alongside white hydrangeas and pink roses. Carnations
are also used largely in cake decorations and even in escort cards and
boutonnieres. Carnations are available in bulk in most of the popular
florists to give the essential durability and versatility to any wedding day
decor.
